Ananya Deepak's experience in her own words:

This was our first time going to different stores and asking for sponsorships and donations. It was a great experience as everyone in the stores were open to hear about USKids4Water. They were all extremely kind and even if they couldn’t sponsor they were able to connect us to the corporate contacts. We were successful at Target and it felt great as we got 100 dollars in donations. Overall, I felt like this was a great experience to learn from and I had fun going to the stores with Vinusha, Anya and Usha aunty who made it more enjoyable as well!

MMC Gudi Padwa Event
Anusha Trivedi Experience in her own words:
My experience with volunteering for MMC Gudi Padwa event as a USK4W team member has been absolutely terrific. I volunteered for USK4W for the first time at a Maharashtra Mandal event. My job was to talk to people attending the event and to educate them about the water crisis in villages in Maharashtra. After doing so, I told the people I was talking to about the work that USK4W is doing in help with the Paani foundation. After sharing all of this information, I asked them if they were willing to donate money to our cause or if they knew someone from ages 5-25 that would be interested in volunteering for USK4W. At the end of the day, with a lot of hard work and hours put in by myself and my fellow volunteers, we had raised $548. However, the money wasn’t the only thing that made me happy and satisfied that day. I felt extraordinary when I was talking and educating people because I knew I was making a difference. I knew that there were men, women, and children that were benefiting from my hard work because all of the money that we collected was going straight to the villagers. Volunteering for USK4W makes me feel incredibly happy, because I now know that I am making a big difference in the world.
